Confession time: I don't read very many books. Now, it's not that I don't enjoy reading; in fact it's quite the opposite. Even at an early age, I was a bookworm. I was one of those children who came home from the public library with a large cardboard box full of books every two weeks all summer long.
But somehow, with a growing family and the acquisition of an all-consuming hobby (I think you know what that one is), reading has slipped down my list of priorities. But I am trying to change that. Something that might help me along: this package that arrived on my doorstep today.
I chose two topics that really interest me: sewing (did I mention I have an all-consuming hobby?) and the pursuit of local/organic food. And I went a little crazy at Amazon.com. I can't wait to dive in! Receiving this package was almost as exciting as the mailman bringing a big box of fabric. (Did I just say that?)
P.S. Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments on yesterday's giveaway post! I am having a great time getting to know you all, and I'll be checking out all of your links. Thanks for saying hello!
I've heard about the Animal Veg book ... I'd love to know what you think! I love the BTRS book and Lotta's isn't too bad either.
